Red Lion House is located in the sleepy village of Alwinton in the heart of the Northumberland National Park.
This stunning house is set over 3 floors and can accommodate a large party of 11 guests. The large lawned garden offers plenty of scope for children to play safely whilst adults can relax in the comfort of the detached orangery. The national park is one of the UK's designated dark sky regions and guests can study the night sky using the telescope provided in the orangery.
There are dozens of walks and mountain bike trails to take directly from the house and the Coquet river can offer fishing or wild swimming locations for the brave. The village pub, the Rose & Thistle, offers stunning views from its beer garden and traditional pub food including a first class Sunday lunch. Whilst in Harbottle, 2 miles down the road, the Star Inn restaurant and pub offers Italian cuisine for both eating in and takeaway.
